Board of Trustees for 2025 announced by Rapides Regional Medical Center

Members are chosen for their dedication and their ability to represent the medical profession as well as their community.

Rapides Regional Medical Center welcomes Marvin Mata, M.D., to its Board of Trustees for 2025, while Nathan Martin is serving at Chair of the Board.

Gary Manuel, M.D., currently serves as Chief of Staff, and serves as an ex-officio member.

Kanna Posina, M.D., is Vice President, and Anil Danivas, M.D., is Past Chairman.

Members of the Board of Trustees are chosen for their dedication to the medical center in its mission, as well as for their ability to represent the medical profession and the community.

  • Marvin Mata, M.D., pediatrics critical care
  • Kanna Posina, M.D., cardiologist
  • Jeff Powell, Rapides Parish School Superintendent
