Located on our main campus, our facility serves as a dedicated place where women and our smallest patients can get the specialized care they need.
About our facility
Our four-story building is connected to the Medical Pavilion, allowing the obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs), pediatric specialists and other physicians with offices there to go back and forth easily.
We offer a full range of women's services, including:

Children's medical care
We take the health of your child as seriously as you do and are fully prepared to treat them whether they're taking their first breath, needing help managing a chronic condition or having surgery. Pediatric-focused features of our hospital include:
- Central Louisiana's largest neonatal ICU
- Pediatric ICU
- Pediatric inpatient unit
- Specialty clinic offering a wide range of pediatric specialties, including orthopedics, gastroenterology, neurology, hematology oncology and pulmonology

Gynecological care
Our OB/GYNs offer a variety of services to help ensure the health of your reproductive system, including menopause management, contraceptive counseling and treatment for pelvic disorders. In addition, we perform a wide range of gynecological surgery procedures, such as:
- Endometrial ablation
- Hysterectomy
- LEEP procedure
- Oophorectomy
- Tubal ligation
Many procedures can be done using minimally invasive techniques, which can help you have an easier recovery than traditional approaches.
Prenatal and pregnancy care
Since 1990, we have delivered tens of thousands of children to Central Louisiana families. We are committed to helping you have the healthiest pregnancy possible and a safe delivery in a maternity unit built with your comfort in mind.
Prenatal care
Healthy babies truly begin with you. We can assist with finding an obstetrician who can provide the care and education you need throughout your pregnancy. We also offer a variety of childbirth and parenting classes to make you feel prepared to meet your little one. Additionally, our team of experienced and educated nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians who can answer all of your baby questions.
Preconception visit
If you're thinking of starting a family, meet with an obstetrician to discuss how you can best prepare your body for pregnancy and address any underlying conditions that may affect your ability to get pregnant or cause a high-risk pregnancy. Also, if certain genetic diseases run in your family, such as cystic fibrosis or sickle cell anemia, you can talk to your doctor about whether you or your partner should have genetic testing before becoming pregnant.
Breast care
Breast health screenings play a critical role in every woman’s long-term health plan. We encourage women to be proactive when considering their breast health and, beyond self-exams, offer multiple ways to help you detect any potentially troubling conditions, such as breast cancer. We offer 3D mammograms, which uses advanced technology to allow our doctors to examine you with greater accuracy, precision and visibility than a basic mammogram.
Women's cancer care
We understand that a cancer diagnosis can be an unsettling time. Our oncologists are expertly trained in helping with many common types of cancers affecting females, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer and uterine cancer. Services within our oncology program include prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, wellness and survivorship. Through our Cancer Screening Mobile Unit, we also help increase access to early detection by providing screenings for residents throughout the community.
